Armor for pets
Was thinking a little bit, and tought it would be cool to have armor for your pet. Got black wolf (my first pet cause am more or less new with ranger )
and would really like it to have some brutal armor so it looks more dangerous.
This idea is more for GW2 cause I presume it is more or less immposible for GW1.
Of course there is still a lot to think about this idea and to work on it.
So question is would you like to have armor for you pet, and if you would, some suggestion about it, or something
Btw sry if there is some thread about this, (or is this thread in wrong section) didn`t see it..

only if i can catch a Magical Liopleurodon as a pet and upgrade it to an Armored Magical Liopleurodon of Great Justice and smite evil in a brave and mighty quest to cleanse the land of its foul stench and reclaim The Amulet from the Fugu Fish.
Also, only if i can have a Choo Choo Shoe mount as well.

Not really needed, and in gw1 pets are useless in most cases, but if they're put in GW2 and are actually useful there, would be nice to have armor for them.

The basic animal companion idea badly needs an overhaul.
They are unique to the ranger so deserve to be a valued addition to ranger builds instead they are sidelined in favour of far more usable builds.
So yes armour or at least some form of customisation for these creatures are long overdue, why the heck there are no magic items for them is beyond me.
Perhaps consider some form of improvement for animal companions in GW1 my suggestion would be for them to be useable as a hero is used.
Perhaps counting as a party member with their own customiseable skill item and armour.
This should also carry over to GW2 in such a way that if the ranger takes a companion they are usable and not a curiosity or a hinderance.

Oh yeah!!! I will sign this one. Just like the other thread last year, and the one the year before that..
I have been wanting armor for my pet since I got him! This is gonna be a lot of art work for Lindsy & crew, I doubt it will happen.

Get a male warrior with 15k gladiator armor aside form the helmet since it's stupid), long hair, get a tiger and pretend it's green, and then a sword with the shape of the salient sword and BAM! You've got HE-MAN!

k...I see this is a yearly thread yeah I agree it would be really a lot of work, but also think that for GW2 they can make that much effort. And after all community is pretty big so they can always make contest so people can help them with ideas. After all, those weapons and shields made by fans were really nice, so I bet they could also make nice armors.
Forgot to say in first post (tought it would not be necessary), dont make stupid posts if you dont like the idea, rather say why you don`t like it, and posts like "I wouldn`t like armor on my bird/chicken"--get a real pet :P
